Course Objective: Enlighten students about the organization and functioning of agricultural research systems (national and international), research ethics, and rural development programmes and policies of the Government.

Section II: Research Ethics (Topics 5-7)

  • Research integrity, honesty, and scientific conduct
  • Laboratory safety and animal welfare standards
  • Computer ethics and ethical dilemmas in research

Section III: Rural Development (Topics 8-12)

  • Concepts, policies, and strategies for rural transformation
  • Major programmes: CDP, IADP, IRDP
  • Panchayati Raj institutions and implementation challenges
