Academic Toolkit – Data Deletion Request

Last Updated: July 26, 2026

This page explains how users of the Academic Toolkit Android application, maintained by Dr. Singh, can request deletion of personal information submitted through the app.

Academic Toolkit does not require users to create an account. Therefore, there is no Academic Toolkit user account that needs to be deleted. However, users may request deletion of personal information that they have voluntarily submitted through features such as Student Connect.

1. What Data Can Be Deleted?

If you have submitted information through Academic Toolkit's Student Connect feature, you may request deletion of personal information associated with your submission.

This may include, where applicable:

  • your name, if you provided it;
  • your email address, if you provided it;
  • academic questions submitted through Student Connect;
  • feedback submitted through the app;
  • suggestions for new educational content;
  • technical problem reports;
  • page, course, or content context associated with the submission;
  • submission date and time;
  • submission or tracking identifier;
  • app and Android version information associated with the submission; and
  • device manufacturer/model information associated with a technical problem report, where applicable.

2. How to Request Deletion

To request deletion of information that you submitted through Academic Toolkit, please contact us using the Contact page on ThesisAnalysis.com.

Open the ThesisAnalysis.com Contact Page

In your message, clearly state: "Academic Toolkit Data Deletion Request".

Please provide enough information for us to identify the submission you want deleted. Depending on what information you originally provided, this may include:

  • the email address used in the submission;
  • your name, if it was included;
  • the approximate date of submission;
  • the type of Student Connect submission;
  • the subject or a brief description of the submission; or
  • the submission/tracking identifier, if available.
Please do not send passwords, financial information, government identification numbers, or other unnecessary sensitive information when making a deletion request.

3. What Happens After a Deletion Request?

After receiving a valid deletion request, we will use the information provided to identify the relevant Academic Toolkit submission.

Where the request can reasonably be verified and the information is eligible for deletion, the associated personal information will be deleted from the records under our control.

We may contact you if additional information is reasonably required to identify the submission or process the request.

4. Data That May Be Retained

Some information may be retained where reasonably necessary for legitimate purposes such as:

  • complying with applicable legal obligations;
  • maintaining security;
  • preventing fraud, spam, or abuse;
  • resolving disputes;
  • documenting or enforcing legal rights; or
  • maintaining information that has been anonymized or aggregated so that it no longer identifies the user.

Any information retained for such purposes will be kept only for as long as reasonably necessary for the applicable purpose.

5. Data Stored Locally on Your Device

Academic Toolkit also stores certain information locally on the user's Android device to provide app functionality. Depending on how the app is used, this may include:

  • bookmarks;
  • reading history;
  • Continue Reading information;
  • offline academic content and related metadata;
  • RAWE Activity Record information;
  • Student Workspace information;
  • app settings and preferences; and
  • temporarily queued Student Connect submissions.

Information that remains solely within the app's local storage is not normally held by us and therefore cannot be remotely deleted by us.

Users can remove locally stored Academic Toolkit information using the relevant deletion features within the app where available, by clearing Academic Toolkit's app data through Android settings, or by uninstalling the application.

6. Pending Student Connect Submissions

If a Student Connect submission cannot be delivered because of a network problem, Academic Toolkit may temporarily retain the pending submission in the application's private internal storage so that delivery can be retried.

Pending Student Connect submissions are excluded from the app's configured cloud-backup rules.

Local pending information can also be removed by clearing the application's data or uninstalling Academic Toolkit, subject to normal Android operating-system behavior.

7. Academic Toolkit Accounts

Academic Toolkit does not provide or require an Academic Toolkit user account.

Users do not need to register, create a username and password, or sign in to use the Academic Toolkit Android application.

Therefore, this deletion mechanism concerns personal information voluntarily submitted through Academic Toolkit rather than deletion of an Academic Toolkit account.
