Introduction
Practical 4 introduced the principle: match the instructional activity to the domain of learning (cognitive/psychomotor/affective) and named a handful of activity types without detailing them, promising this practical would build the full toolkit. This is that toolkit — every method named in your syllabus, with its procedure, best-fit domain, strengths, and limitations, so that by the end you can justify why a specific method was chosen for a specific objective, not just describe what it is.

A classic and frequently examined distinction specific to extension education — both are "demonstrations" but serve different purposes.

KVKs use Method Demonstration extensively in hands-on training (e.g., seed treatment, vermicompost preparation), while symposium and seminar formats are typically reserved for scientist/officer-level events rather than farmer audiences.

Because the method deliberately works with real, unscripted interpersonal dynamics as they emerge in the room — without skilled handling, this can surface genuine conflict or discomfort that an untrained facilitator cannot safely manage, unlike a structured method like lecture or demonstration where the content is pre-planned.
Not at all — for Remember/Understand-level objectives with a large audience and limited time, lecture remains efficient and appropriate. The issue is using lecture alone for objectives that actually require Apply/Analyse/Psychomotor-level learning, where it cannot do the job on its own.
